Faced with the daunting task of having to find a company to do some major time sensitive repairs to our house (during covid of all times) we started quoting with various companies. J.Collins Construction came highly recommended to us through friends, and after getting multiple quotes from other companies, we decided to go with them. Although all companies we met with were professional, we really liked Josh's outlook and assessment of the work, and decided to go with our gut instinct. We were beyond pleased with everything they did. The team onsite was so kind, informative, clean and professional. They gave us full status updates each day, and even though they were tearing down walls in our house, we hardly noticed they were there. I would very highly recommend them to anyone, and plan on contacting them for all future work in our house.

I gave Josh some major renovations when I bought my house 7 years ago. We have completely redone the kitchen, two bathrooms. I have nothing but kudos to him and, 7 years later, I can appreciate how impeccable the job has been. It was a complex job (we had to tear down a supporting wall, add a steel beam, etc.), and nothing was overlooked. I also want to highlight the quality of the people Josh works with. He surrounds himself with people who have the same requirements as him. I could still see it 2 years ago when Josh sent one of his painters to repaint the entire 2nd floor of my duplex. Whenever I have a question about the house I call Josh back and he is always good advice. The “after-sales” service is remarkable.
In short, I do not hesitate for a second to recommend it.

JCC renovated and updated our apartment in a 1920s large apartment building (kitchen and bathroom remodel, new electrical, minor structural changes, and a general restorative face-lift, including custom built-ins). This worksite, the structural peculiarities of the building, our many unconventional design ideas and desire to restore rather than gut-renovate (plus a COVID shut-down...) made this a complex renovation that required negotiating many challenges as they arose during the work. We are very glad we had Josh and his team on our side. The work was done to a very high standard, and communications, when aspects of the job had to be rethought, as was inevitably the case, were always prompt and excellent. Transparent weekly billing and the honesty of the team took care of one of our key worries before starting a renovation. We recommend JCC highly, especially if attention to detail and high-quality execution are priorities

JCC listens to your needs, suggests ways of doing it and delivers on time, the whole at a fair price. But best of all, all of their renovations are properly done and are integrated seamlessly into the existing house.

J. Collins Construction has successfully completed renovations on our house including a powder room, front hall and building a six foot fence. Estimates were fair and honored. Any changes due to unforeseen glitches were discussed at length and a very fair resolution agreed upon with Josh. He was very positive and available to discuss any of my concerns during the renovations. I would employ this company for future renovations and highly recommend them.

I want to say how pleased I am with the work of J. Collins Construction Inc. In the space of three weeks, this company demolished my very old and quite rotten porch and replaced it with a beautiful new, carefully constructed, porch that I am sure will last for many years to come. I was particularly pleased that JCC looked after the drawings for the new porch required for the building permit in Montreal West. What I liked as well was the fact that the various teams of workers who looked after the different stages of the job were all efficient, always came on time, and were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. J. Collins Construction did the complete renovation of my basement and I could not be more pleased with the result! This was my first time hiring a general contractor for a big job, and Joshua was assuring, answered all my questions and respected my budget, making it overall a great experience.
